Homeschool Information
EJ Education is a homeschool program that takes the worry out of "homeschool". We (Justin and Liz) both have our Masters Degrees in Teaching/Education, are certificated teachers in Washington State, and hold additional endorsements. Our homeschool materials ensure that our families/students are receiving a standards-based, balanced education covering the yearly 1,000+ hours, or 180 days of instruction.
In Washington, homeschooled children must file a yearly intent to homeschool (due September 15th to your local school district). Children between the ages of 8-18 must attend school; however, that schooling may be public, private or home-based schooling. If the schooling is home-based instruction, it needs to be supervised by a person certificated in Washington State (pursuant to chapter 28A.410 RCW), which is where we come in!
